The Cape Town Section library has a number of videos which other Sections may apply to borrow, subject to certain Rules and conditions. The videos may only be borrowed by Sections, and not by members of other Sections for their personal use.
Books in the Library exceed 3500 and, with the exception of a few mostly technical and foreign language books which "belong" to Cencom., may only be borrowed by Cape Town Section members. However, if for example, a national expedition is being planned , relevant books may, on application through the Hon Secretary of Cencom, or the Hon Secretary of other Sections, who will be personally held responsible for all costs (postage/insurance) and return in good condition within a prescribed period, be borrowed by members of other Sections.
