Lecture Tours by Overseas Mountaineers
The MCSA usually organises an annual lecture tour by an overseas mountaineer. Past lecturers include:
- Greg Child - lectured and climbed in South Africa hosted by the MCSA (2000)
- Hans Florine- lectured and presented training clinics (1999)
- Dennis Gray - presented lectures on Morocco (1998)
- Kurt Diemberger - presented 11 lectures (1996)
- Stephen Venables - visited SA and presented lectures countrywide (1995 and 1991)
The MCSA is looking
for guest speakers. We typically pay for your flight, put you up with
members and take you climbing around the country . If you are interested
in such please and you are of the callibre of people mentioned on the
left, please mail : secretary@mcsa.org.za
