"When we reach the mountain summits we leave behind all the things that weigh heavily on our body and our spirit. We leave behind all sense of depression; we feel a new freedom, a great exhilaration of the body no less than the spirit."

As one of its primary objectives the MCSA serves to "procure and protect real rights in and access to mountain and mountain areas". In following this objective it has bought a number of properties and servitudes over properties as well as negotiated with land owners and government representatives to ensure access to mountain areas.

Each section administers land in its region. To find out specific details about land access in a specific area contact the section.
